Consignment

Logos Transport Ltd handles all consignment and maritime transport operations, including:

- Consignment of goods,

- Consignment of oil tankers,

And any other operations that may be entrusted to us by the shipowner (boat owner) or charterer, including freight negotiation and collection. As a ship's consignee, we are the agent of the shipowner or charterer, on whose behalf we will carry out all operations that the captain does not perform himself to meet the needs of the vessel and the shipment. We handle all physical loading and unloading of the goods.

Definition and role : 

The shipping agent works within a team whose role is to take charge of a ship in its entirety during its port call to ensure that it is as quick and as cost-effective as possible. He represents the interests of a shipowner in a seaport and takes all the commercial, technical and administrative measures necessary for the proper operation of ships transiting through the port. He is responsible for finding freight to fill the ship.
